RULES:
1) Carbureted engines only...NO FUEL INJECTION!!!
2) Minimum weight of 2750 lbs with driver
3) Maximum of 55% left side weight with driver
4) All drivers MUST use HANS or other aporoved safety device
5) Any aftermarket body allowed, as long as it conforms to series templates
6) All cars will be measured using GO/NO GO gauge

SOBE Series events will be run as follows:

4 Heats + Consi
36 Cars In Feature

Heats run as follows...12 cars per heat, with the top 8 from each heat transferring to the feature.
If you don't make it through the heats, you have 1 more chance to make it in via the Consi. Top 4 transfer to feature.

Caution laps WILL NOT count

ALL drivers that finish in transfer spots MUST report to tech to have car weighed and tires checked.

Top 5 finishers in feature MUST report to post race tech and teardown

The rules don't make any sense when you are running a NR2003 league.

I realize the only race that will run is the feature. I just wanted it to be as realistic as possible. I have a randomizing program to do the heats and consi. Enter all drivers into it and it will generate line ups and finishes for me. All I do then is import the info and run the feature. The caution laps rule pertains to the heats, not the feature.

Caution Laps do count in NR2003.
